Anthony Abery charged with burgling Banjo Cycles in Newbury

A MAN has been accused of burgling a store.

Reading magistrates held a preliminary hearing into the case against Anthony Abery on Thursday, April 3.

The 45-year-old, who was lately living at Newtown Road, in Newbury, is charged with entering Banjo Cycles in Newbury as a trespasser with intent to steal on October 11, 2023.

Magistrates adjourned the case until a later date when Abery will be expected to appear and to enter a plea to the single charge.
