Fiona Hobson’s Macmillan Coffee Morning raises £978 in Hungerford

A COFFEE morning in Hungerford has raised a whopping sum for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Organiser Fiona Hobson said: “Once again we held our Macmillan Coffee Morning at Hungerford United Reformed Church.
“This was the 12th one in a row and again raised a very good amount despite being quite a bit quieter than usual.
“Once again my thanks go to my helpers Debbie Padgen, Frances Lofthouse, Rev Stephen Ansa Addo, Judy Neale, Yolande Hadden, Stephen Berryman and Julian Tubb the Bellman.
“Many thanks to all who made cakes, donated raffle or auction lots and to all those that came on the day or have donated since.”
The total from the morning so far stands at £978.
