M4 junction 6 to junction 8/9 closed this weekend

Part of the M4 through Berkshire will be closed this weekend.

The westbound carriageway, between junction 6 at Windsor and junction 8/9 at Maidenhead will be shut from 9pm tonight (Friday).

It is due to reopen at midday on Sunday (October 15).

The closure is to allow National Highways to carry out essential bridge joint repairs, surfacing, and waterproofing on the Thames Bray bridge.

A fully signed diversion will be in place via A355, A332, A308 and the A308(M).
