Learn how to canoe at Adventure Dolphin

The paddlepower programme is run by the British Canoe Union and encourages children from the age of eight to take up canoeing.
The scheme, which comprises of five awards to support children as they learn to canoe, is being run out of West Berkshire Council's Adventure Dolphin Centre off Whitchurch Road, Pangbourne.
Once the youngsters canoe skills improve they are given the opportunity to compete against other paddle sport centres - last year the Adventure Dolphin Centre in Pangbourne was crowned southern region champions.
West Berkshire's executive councillor for culture and leisure, Hilary Cole encouraged children to get involved in the paddlepower scheme.
"Adventure Dolphin is a nationally recognised facility and we are lucky to have it on our doorstep. The sky really is the limit for young people who wish to take advantage of the opportunities on offer at the centre,” she added.
