Last call for orders to buy Newbury town centre pub King Charles Tavern in Cheap Street




The owner of a town centre pub has called for last orders to purchase or lease it by the end of this month.

Estate agents Savills has announced that any parties interested in taking over the King Charles Tavern in Cheap Street should submit their offers by midday on Friday, January 31.

The sale price for the Grade II listed three storey property is listed at £450,000 plus VAT, with five-year letting terms offering rent at £26,000 per year.

Savills stated that the current owner of the pub made the decision to make this deadline for offers “due to the level of interest shown in the property”.
