Co-op closed as Thames Valley Police investigate 'incident' in Hungerford

POLICE are at the scene of an incident in Charnham Street, Hungerford this morning (Monday).

The Co-op petrol station remains closed and will "remain so for some time," said Kieren Bushnell, a spokesman for Thames Valley Police, at around 11am.

The force added in a statement: "There is no risk to the wider public. Thank you for your patience and understanding."
