"My deepest condolences go out to members of the Royal Family, her staff and to those whose lives she's touched throughout her reign.

"Her Majesty was a great servant to the UK and Commonwelath, supporting many charities and voluntary organisations.

"I'm sure they will greatly miss her unwavering loyalty dedication.

"Hungerford celebrated Her Majesty's platinum jubilee in June, marking her 70-year reign.

"This was a wonderful celebration of a lifetime of work.

"Her Majesty the Queen has been a huge inspiration, completely devoted to public service, showing empathy and compassion throughout her reign.

"I had the pleasure of meeting Her Majesty the Queen whilst invited to a garden party at Buckingham Palace in 2019.

"Flags will be at half mast until 8am on the morning following the funeral except on Proclamation Day when they will be raised from 11am until 1pm the following day.

"A book of condolence will be opened from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday and will remain open in the foyer of the town hall/Corn Exchange until 5pm on the day following the funeral.

"Floral tributes may be left on the balcony on the town hall steps."
