Kingsclere homes planning application withdrawn

An application to build three homes near Kingsclere has been withdrawn.

The applicant had been hoping to build the homes on a residential plot of land off the A339 just south of the Star Inn, on a site which currently houses Oak Cottage.

Two of the houses would’ve been semi-detached and the third detached, with the entrance to the site using the existing access road to Oak Cottage.

However, the plans had attracted the anger of some neighbours, and been objected to by the parish council.

It has now been withdrawn.
