Did you receive a Queen Elizabeth II coronation glass? The Newbury Weekly News wants to hear from you
The Newbury Weekly News is inviting West Berkshire and North Hampshire residents who received a 1953 Queen Elizabeth II coronation beaker to take part in a group photo showing off their proud memorabilia.
Ahead of King Charles III's coronation on Saturday, May 6, we want to hear from anyone who was gifted an engraved glass or mug to mark Her Majesty's coronation in 1953.
Those camera shy are still encouraged to share any photos or memories of how they or their communities marked the occasion.
We are also interested to hear from our younger readers who received commemorative coins issued for Her Majesty's golden and diamond jubilees in 2002 and 2012 to share photos of their momentos or stories of how their schools celebrated.
Please contact mirek.gosney@newburynews.co.uk to join in the group photo, which will take place in Newbury and require you to arrange your own transport, or to share photos and stories.
Once responses have been received, interested parties will be notified of a date, time and location of the photo.
