A number of residents of Newport Road and Shaw Road recently reported that they had fallen victim to the overnight criminal damage.
There were further reports of criminal damage, including smashed car windows, in Walton Way.
Police spokesman James Williams, said that four reports were received of criminal damage in Newport Road and Shaw Road.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incidents and anyone with information should call 101.
