And club captains, Sarah Jolly and Kieran Watson, are already planning nearly a year’s worth of events from quiz nights to themed golf days, with a final event planned for September.

Their fundraising efforts will primarily go towards supporting the charity’s play equipment appeal, with the club captains specifically looking to add bike and scooter sheds for the young people the charity supports.

Mrs Jolly said: “We’re excited to work with Prior’s Court’s to raise as much as possible.

“We have lots of creative plans in the works, and we’re looking forward to a fantastic year of fundraising.”

The charity’s corporate and community fundraising lead Aimée Hoyle added: “This partnership offers an exciting opportunity to blend charity with fun, engaging events that deepen community involvement and support for Prior’s Court.

“We’ll be looking to strengthen ties with Donnington Grove by inviting club members to visit Prior’s Court and learn more and maybe even for a spot of volunteering.”

The club has already raised money through a raffle and has placed collection boxes for the charity in its pro shop and members areas.
