From beardies to baldies

Dave Quincey, from Newbury, and Guy Sargent, from Thatcham, came up with the stunt to raise money for three charities – Macmillan Cancer Support, the Fibromyalgia Association and Little Princess Trust.
The pair went under the clippers at the Tesco store in London Road, where Mr Quincey works, on Sunday.
Mr Sargent’s long hair has been sent to the Little Princess Trust, which provides real hair wigs for children with cancer.
Mr Quincey said that although they did not have a grand total yet, they had already raised £1,000.
He added that he was raising money for Macmillan as a friend had had facial cancer and his best friend was undergoing treatment for bowel cancer, while Mr Sargent wanted to raise funds for the Fibromyalgia Association as he suffered from the painful condition which affects the central nervous system.
