Firefighters tackle Hungerford washing machine blaze

Spokeswoman for the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service, Ellie Gray, said one pump from Newbury and a second from Whitley Wood, were called at 4.06pm to a property in Charnham Street, where smoke was issuing from a washing machine.
The washing machine, which was damaged in the fire, was removed from the property by firefighters.
The incident was closed at 4.35pm
