Fab four run London Landmarks Half Marathon for Prior’s Court
Fantastic four fundraisers took on a half marathon to raise money for autistic young people with complex needs at Prior’s Court in Hermitage.
The London Landmarks Half Marathon was completed on Sunday, April 6, as a regular fundraiser for the education and residential services at Prior’s Court.
Jenny Turner, Emma Hutt, Cameron Kavanagh and Rachel Clements were all hoping to raise over £500 for the charity and its play equipment appeal.
Both Jenny and Cameron have surpassed their targets and raised over £650, with Emma and Rachel not far behind.
Collectively, more than £2,000 has been raised.
Prior’s Court fundraising manager Natalie Norris said: “Their efforts will make a massive difference to the lives of the autistic young people with complex needs we care for, empowering them to live happier, healthier, more independent lives.”
Prior’s Court offers education and care for autistic young people aged five to 25, providing a caring environment to develop independent life skills, communication and social skills and vocational opportunities.
The money raised will continue to benefit and improve the care given to autistic young people with complex needs.
