Euro election debate tonight (Thurs)

Hosted by the Newbury and District branch of the United Nations Association, the election warm up debate will take place at St Nicolas Church hall from 7.30pm.
The Conservative party will be represented by Nirj Deva, Labour by Anneliese Dodds, the Liberal Democrat party by Ian Bearder, UKIP will be represented by Ray Finch, the Liberty party by Jack Buckby, the Peace Party by John Morris and the English Democrats by Steve Uncles.
The Green Party has yet to announce which candidate will represent them at the debate.
Each candidate will give a short presentation, outlining their policies, to allow the maximum time for questions and debate afterwards.
All are welcome to attend the free event.
The European elections take place next Thursday (22).
By voting for a preferred party (rather than a candidate) voters will get the chance to have a say in who represents the South East region on the European Parliament.
