Driver cut out of car at Greenham Business Park




Roof removed after collision involving two cars

A DRIVER was cut out of a car before being taken to hospital, after a collision involving two cars at Greenham Business Park this morning (Tues).

A fire engine from Newbury was called at 6.50am to the business park, off the A339, not far from the first entrance to the park in the Basingstoke direction.

A grey Mondeo and green Honda Civic were involved in the collision, and firefighters removed the roof of the Honda.

The driver was then removed from the vehicle before being taken to hospital with suspected leg injuries.

The driver of the Mondeo was also taken to hospital, according to firefighters at the scene.

Firefighters left the scene at 8.15am.

The slip road to the business park was closed during the incident.
