In a thrilling photo-finish, The Rank Outsiders, from St Matthew’s Church, finished in first place, narrowly beating Oar and Gas, from the Wood Group.

A group of 20 plus volunteers including Rotarians and their family and friends who, although exhausted, felt proud of what they had achieved.

The organisers wish to think the Purley Park Trust, who sponsored the event at Pangbourne Fete on June 8.

They also thank PR Motors, which sponsored the Safety Boat, Pro-Tar Surfacing and Woodborough Dental practice, who each sponsored a Dragon Boat, provided by Henley Dragons.
