Double Dog of the Week

This week’s dogs are 12-year-old Dachshund cross, Bogart, and two-year-old Terrier, Sassy.
Assistant Manager at Dogs Trust Newbury, Jenny Hopkins, said: “Bogart is such a gentleman who loves his creature comforts and enjoys nothing more than curling up on the sofa after a long day.
“He is looking for a quiet, adult-only home, preferably with a retired person who could accompany him on gentle strolls around the local area.
“Bogart would need a home with a secure garden and could live with another small, calm female dog.
“He is a fine fellow and will make a loving, loyal

companion in the right home.”
She added: “Sassy is a lovely little lass who definitely prefers the quiet life.
“She would suit a peaceful but active adult home away from any hustle and bustle.
“She could live with a male dog who might act as a guardian and help ease her into family life.
“Sassy would love to get to know her new companion before heading off to a new home so would need to be visited at the centre to make sure she finds her match.”
