Double dog of the week

This week’s dogs are four year old Lurcher Rusty and champion cyclist Bradley Wiggins ringer – Joseph the Terrier.
Assistant Manager at Dogs Trust Newbury, Jenny Hopkins, said: “Rusty is a playful chap who loves being outdoors.
“He would suit a home in a rural area with a large, secure garden where he can run and play to his heart’s content.
“He can get excited around other dogs so would prefer to be homed with a female dog or as the only dog in the home.
“As he is a big boy, Rusty will need owners who have experience of larger dogs.
“He can take time to get to know new people so would like prospective owners to visit him at the rehoming centre to make sure he finds a perfect match.”
She added: “With his distinctive sideburn markings, Joseph’s a real ringer for Bradley and he caught our attention as soon as he came into the centre.
“We’re now hoping we can find him a perfect home, away from the spotlight.
“Like Bradley, Joseph enjoys his exercise so is looking for an experienced, adult only home with a secure garden.
“He can live with other, small dogs and loves human company.
“If you think you could fit the bill, please get in touch.”
