This week’s dog is one-year-old Lurcher, Annie.
Assistant Manager at Dogs Trust Newbury, Jenny Hopkins, said: “She came to Dogs Trust Newbury as a stray and her unsettled start means she is a little shy, but nothing that she cannot overcome with a little love and patience.
“She is looking for a home to shine in, preferably with another sight hound who can be her doggy mentor and help her settle.
“Annie is a very playful girl and loves to lap up attention.
“She would be suited to a quiet adult home with a secure garden.
“If you live in a rural area and love daily strolls, Annie could make a perfect companion for you.”
