Dog of the Week

This week’s dog is eight-year-old Golden Retriever, Jack.
Assistant Manager at Dogs Trust Newbury, Jenny Hopkins, said: "Jack was handed into us as his previous owners’ work commitments meant they were unable to look after him.
"He is a handsome chap who gets on well with everyone he meets – both people and dogs.
"He could also live in a home with cats if needed.
"Jack has an existing hip problem but he can still enjoy short walks.
"He would suit an active retired couple who can take him for gentle strolls on a daily basis.
"Dogs Trust can offer financial help with the vet bills so this need not be a burden for his new owners."
