All About Dogs returns to Newbury Showground over Easter weekend

The UK’s largest and fastest-growing canine festival returned to Newbury Showground this week, with owners and their dogs enjoying a variety of activities and shows throughout the bank holiday.

All About Dogs, which took place on Sunday, April 17 and Monday, April 18, had a huge programme of shows, events, arena displays, demonstrations, activities and family entertainment which all revolved around our four-legged friends.

The event also featured dog show classes and talent competitions – such as cutest pup, waggiest tail and worst hair day – for gifted pooches.

All About Dogs director Matt Upson said: “We welcomed thousands of dogs and owners to the All About Dogs Show and it was great to see them having fun and enjoying the activities and displays throughout the weekend.

“The sun was shining on us too which made the day even better, especially for the dogs posing with the rosettes they won in the fun dog shows. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon.”

Some of the activities that took place over the weekend included a K9 Aqua Sports station that saw hounds testing out their water skills, and Scruffts, the Kennel Club’s official crossbreed competition, took place on the Sunday.

“Our aim is to deliver a spectacular, feel-good day out for both our two and four-legged visitors and to offer them something unique they wouldn’t get at a traditional dog show event.”
