Whovians unite! Doctor Who quiz night in Newbury pub next week

Fans of the television show Doctor Who will have a chance to showcase their knowledge and help charity at the same time.

The Catherine Wheel pub in Cheap Street is hosting a quiz night celebrating the famous programme, and other British sci-fi shows.

Teams of up to six people can demonstrate if they know their Daleks from their Cybernauts, while helping the work of British Heart Foundation.

There will also be a raffle with prizes on offer.

Entry is £2 per person, and the event takes place from 8pm on Tuesday, August 20.
