Deja vu? Lorry from same company causes rail chaos after Hungerford High Street bridge strike

And here we go again.

You might get a sense of deja vu comparing these two images taken at Hungerford High Street railway bridge - one from 2015 and the other Tuesday, May 7.

Both involve lorries from the same company and both caused travel chaos for rail commuters as services were cancelled.

But, of course, there have been many other instances at the site, involving other company vehicles.

Meanwhile articulated lorries continue to strike The Plume pub on the corner of Park Street.

Despite multiple approaches from Hungerford Town Council’s highways and transport committee, West Berkshire Council has said the problem is insoluble.
