Crash on A339 between Burger King roundabout and Tesco roundabout - road now reopened in one direction

UPDATE, 8.30pm: The A339 remains closed this evening between the Tesco roundabout and the Burger King roundabout.

UPDATE, 11.30am: The road has now reopened in one direction.

Part of the A339 in Newbury is currently closed after a serious crash.

The incident has blocked the carriageway between the Burger King roundabout and the Tesco roundabout.

Police and recovery vehicles are currently on the scene and both carriageways remain closed at this time.

A single car, which has overturned, is being recovered.

It is not thought that anyone was seriously injured in the incident.
