Crash closes A339 between Kingsclere and Basingstoke in both directions

A car crash has closed a stretch of the A339 near Newbury in both directions.

The crash, which was first reported to the AA at 2.39pm, occurred near to the Ramsdell turn off with Basingstoke Road.

There are currently delays between Kingsclere and Basingstoke in both directions because of the crash and a stretch of the road is closed.

On its website, AA traffic has stated: “Road closed and delays due to crash on A339 both ways from Wootton Saint Lawrence turn off to Folly Farm turn off.”
