One lane closed after crash on A34 in West Berkshire

A crash has closed one lane of the A34 through West Berkshire this afternoon (Friday).

The incident happened on the northbound carriageway, between the junctions with the A4 at Speen and the A339.

Lane one is currently blocked and there is queuing traffic around the area.

Traffic is also building up through Newbury as motorists try to divert to avoid the crash scene.

National Highways said it expects the road to be cleared by around 4.45pm.
