Coronavirus West Berkshire: confirmed cases as of October 2, 2021

The number of lab-confirmed cases in West Berkshire is now 12,533 – an increase of 16 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population is 253.1, with 401 cases in the seven days to September 27.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The vaccination uptake figures for today (Saturday, 2) have not been yet updated by the Government as they work on a solution to include 12-15 year-olds.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 7,871,014, with the daily total at 30,301.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 136,910.

The number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate is 159,716 as of Friday, September 17.
