Coronavirus West Berkshire: Confirmed cases as of August 4, 2021




The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 8,771 – an increase of 56 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population to July 30 is 206.4, with 327 cases in the seven days to July 30.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 215,151 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of August 3.

The first dose total is 117,514, while 97,637 people in the district have received a second dose.

Nationally, 46,928,033 people have received a first vaccine dose as of August 3, with 38,733,334 having had a second dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 5,952,756, while the daily number of lab-confirmed cases is 29,312.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 130,000.

The daily number of deaths within the 28-day range is 119.

The number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate is 153,734 as of Friday, July 23.
