Headley Community Shop to hold Christmas local produce event

Headley Community Shop will be holding its annual Christmas goods and local produce event this Saturday.

The food preview will contain a range of festive fare including cheeses, pates, meats, pastries and biscuits, as well as local gin, beer and wine.

Products can be tasted and purchased on the day, or ordered for delivery nearer to Christmas.

The event is taking place at the shop, which is located on Thornford Road, between 10am and 12.30pm.

The community shop is run by volunteers who serve customers, stack shelves, clean the premises, stock-take and deliver newspapers.
