Collision to central motorway barrier causes delays on M4 Junction 14 in both directions




Update: Highways England has said that roadworks on the closed lane, eastbound, began at 2.35pm today (January 16) and will continue to 6am tomorrow (January 17).

There has been a road traffic collision on the M4 eastbound at Junction 14 today (January 16).

The collision has caused significant damage to the central reservation barrier.

There are now serious delays of up to 15 minutes against expected traffic as the event clears.

Lanes will remain closed throughout the day for repair work.

There are no delays on the approach.

Highways England has said that the incident is still active.

The road is expected to clear between 5pm and 5.15pm today (January 16).

Normal traffic conditions are expected between 5.45pm and 6pm this evening.
