A post on the club’s Facebook page shortly after the incident said it had closed “until further notice” due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

But it confirmed online today (Monday) it is hoping to reopen to customers this Wednesday (April 9).

A Thames Valley Police said: “We received a report of a business burglary at a bar on Cheap Street, Newbury, at around 6:30am yesterday.
