Newbury-based Special Auction Services to hold charity auction fundraiser for Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service
Special Auction Services will be holding a charity auction at its Newbury headquarters on Tuesday, August 2.
The money raised will go towards Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service in Maidenhead, which was founded in 2007 with the aim of providing a dedicated children's hospice service for all children with life limiting and life-threatening illnesses in Berkshire and beyond.
Both Thomas Forrester and Neil Shuttleworth, directors of Special Auction Services, are ambassadors for the charity and along with donations, valuation days and other fundraising events, they continue to support the hospice wholeheartedly.
Director of Special Auction Services Neil Shuttleworth said: "We are delighted to host a charity auction solely raising funds for the Alexander Devine Children's Hospice. We’re committed to raise as much money as possible and confident that with your help we can achieve this together.
"The auction will be a traditional sale with descriptions, photographs and of course live internet bidding so people join us and bid on these fine and rare lots.
"There is a good mixture of antiques and collectables up for grabs including silver, jewellery, coins, paintings, furniture, ceramics, glass and much more."
You can view the lots online here.
You can register to bid via www.specialauctionservices.com. If you are a successful bidder you will be emailed an invoice. Upon receipt of payment via bank transfer, your items can be made ready for collection by appointment only.
The charity auction will be held at 10am on Tuesday, August 2, at SAS Newbury, Plenty Close.
*There is no buyer's premium so you simply pay the hammer price. There is an optional 2% + vat premium (to be donated directly to the charity) which can be opted out of.
