Litter pickers needed to help clean up Thatcham

Thatcham Litter Pickers will be out collecting rubbish this Saturday (May 29) from 10am to 11am.

The group will meet at the park between The Moors and Lower Way in Thatcham.

Anyone wishing to join in is asked to bring a pair of gloves and then you will be provided with a litter picker, a black bag and a recycling bag.

In a post on its Facebook page the group said: "You can pick up the equipment you need and then head off to pick where you like. Then meet us back in the park where we take your litter and equipment from you and say a big thank you."

The litter pickers group post adds: "Thatcham is in need of quite a bit of TLC at the moment so we are asking for as many people to come as possible.

"Hopefully we will have no limit on numbers so everyone is welcome."
