Butterflies brighten up the rainy summer thanks to Living Rainforest
The Living Rainforest in Hampstead Norreys has been keeping children entertained with nature this summer holidays.
The wet weather doesn’t stop animals and plants from thriving and butterflies are no exception.
In late August it held an event for Butterfly Week which saw a variety of species taking to the air- above some very impressed visitors.
A similar event was also held in May which the Living Rainforest said went really well because the butterflies could fly freely around.
“So we added a fluttering fantastic butterfly week to our events.
“From 21st to 27th August visitors got to see our beautiful rainforest with amazing butterflies and butterfly-related events all week long.”
The butterflies have since been coming out and the centre has shared its images with Newbury Today.
