Ramsbury Brewery Beer & Cocktail Festival back with a blast

Around 700 hundred people attended Ramsbury Estates’ sold-out Beer and Cocktail Festival on Saturday (May 18).

Back by popular demand, visitors enjoyed sipping their way through a wide selection of award-winning ales, ciders, gins and vodkas, with enough food options and live music by local musicians to see them into the night.

House favourites included classic golden ale Ramsbury Gold, along with newcomers Equinox — a hoppy, citrusy session beer — and the Ramsbury Pale Ale, a rich golden ale with a light hoppy aroma — ideal under the sun.

But a range of other beers were also available to sample, including the Sawbuck brown ale by Elusive Brewing, based in Wokingham, and Malt Head Mild dark ale by Windsor & Eton Brewery.

BK Grain and Ramsbury Electrical sponsored the festival stage.

The next event is the Ramsbury Triple B — Beer, Bikes and Burgers — on June 8.

The estate has teamed up again with Trail Break and Swindon Cycles for a trail ride across the Wiltshire Downs.

Participants will be able to check out trade stands and demo bikes at Swindon Cycles Demo Day, plus a range of ales from the bar at Ramsbury Brewery.
