Since 2004, Battle Proms has been supporting military charities, such as SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, which has been the Battle Proms chosen charity since 2018.

Director of fundraising for SSAFA Jonathan Sandall said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Battle Proms for the fifth year running.

“The summer concerts are a huge part of our events calendar and we feel privileged to be involved again.

“To date, we have raised an outstanding £500,000 to help fund SSAFA’s vital work supporting members of the Armed Forces, veterans and their families.

“With the country facing an almost unprecedented cost of living crisis following hard on the heels of a two year pandemic, never has this support been more important.

“So, a huge thank you to everyone who has bought a ticket this year, and to those that haven’t yet, it’s not too late and it really is a brilliant day for all to enjoy!”
