B&M to open shop on London Road in Newbury

One of the nation’s leading discount variety retailers is coming to Newbury later this year.

B&M has confirmed that its Newbury store will be opening on London Road on Saturday, October 7.

It is believed that the new shop will fill the entire vacant unit at 121 London Road.

Previous occupants include Pets at Home, Lidl and Topps Tiles, all of which have now closed and moved to premises elsewhere in the town.

B&M has also applied for planning permission to build a 4.8m high fence on the property to form an external garden centre compound.
