Thames Valley Police appeal after teenager approached by man in Thatcham




Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy was approached by a man in Thatcham.

The 16-year-old was was walking in Henwick Lane, between the A4 Bath Road and Roman Way, when he was approached by a man who tried to talk to him and hold his hand several times.

The man is described as white, with a pale complexion, aged between 20 and 30 years old, around 5 feet 6 inches tall, skinny with brown hair and a goatee beard.

He was wearing a waist length yellow jacket, blue jeans and a silver and khaki baseball cap.

The incident occurred at 8.45pm on Friday.

Police have asked anyone with knowledge of the incident, CCTV or dash cam footage that may cover the area at this time, to assist with the investigation.
