Antique and vintage street market coming to Newbury on March 23
A new antique and vintage street market will soon be coming to Newbury.
ACVR Events, which runs similar markets in venues throughout Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex, will be bringing one to West Berkshire this year.
There will be three Newbury Antiques and Vintage markets in 2025, with the first one taking place on Sunday, March 23, between 10am and 4pm on Northbrook Street.
According to organisers, the markets will consist of “a huge array of interesting and affordable items” which will include furniture both mid-century and traditional, vintage textiles and accessories, glassware, prints and posters, medals and postcards, kitchenalia, gardenalia, decorative items for your home, quirky industrial finds and more.
ACVR are currently asking potential stall holders to get in touch with them by contacting Jackie via email on jackieedwardsmarketing@gmail.com or by calling 07514 680872.
The upcoming markets are being brought to the town by ACVR in partnership with Newbury Business Improvement District (BID).
A Newbury BID spokesperson said: “We are thrilled to be working with ACVR Events to introduce another exciting series of unique markets to our annual schedule.
“The local enthusiasm for upcycling and reusing quality older items is evident from the success of the repair café and thriving local retailers in this sector.
“The Antiques and Vintage market builds on the success of our Artisan and Vegan Markets, offering yet another great reason for locals and visitors alike to visit Newbury.”
