Thatcham man Daniel Quenalt accused of possessing heroin and cocaine with intent to supply others
AN alleged drug dealer will have his case heard at the crown court.
Daniel Quenalt appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, February 12.
The 36-year-old, of The Haywards, Thatcham, is accused of possessing the Class A-controlled drug heroin with intent to supply it to others.
He is further charged with possessing the Class A-controlled drug cocaine with intent to supply it.
Next, Quenalt is accused of having a weapon, namely a baton.
Finally, he is charged with receiving stolen goods, namely, a strack suit.
All the above offences were said to have been committed in Thatcham on July 24 last year.
Magistrates told Quenalt, who was legally represented by Adonis Daniel, that they considered their own powers of punishment could be insufficient and declined further jurisdiction.
They sent all the above matters to be dealt with by a judge and, in the event of a trial, by a jury sitting at Reading Crown Court on a date to be fixed.
Quenalt was meanwhile released on unconditional bail.
