The Thatcham 30-year-old, currently said to be of no fixed address, had been accused of stalking Alice Beckley, attending her workplace on multiple occasions despite having bail conditions forbidding it and despite knowing this was unwanted, in Thatcham between October 10 and October 14 last year.

He denied the offence and the charge was dismissed when the prosecution offered no evidence.

Andrews had also pleaded not guilty to threatening to destroy property belonging to Ms Beckley in Thatcham between the same dates.

However, he subsequently changed his plea and admitted the offence.

Andrews, who was legally represented by Mason Waker, was told the case would be adjourned for pre-sentence reports.

District Judge Samuel Goozee stipulated these should be prepared on an ‘all options’ basis including custody.

Andrews was meanwhile released on bail with conditions.
