Abandoned Mo get his pawfect ending
EVERY Dogs Trust dog hopes for their pawfect ending and Little Mo got his wish when he sped off to a new home.
The Newbury Weekly News reported in October how the tiny Terrier was thin and dehydrated when he was found abandoned at the Chieveley M4 services.
After some much needed TLC from staff at Dogs Trust Newbury, he was fighting fit and was soon scooped up by a new owner and given a new name – Harry.
Harry’s new owner, Mike Hook said: "Harry is a bright boy who has given us so much joy over the last couple of months.
"He enjoys stretching his legs on long walks with his friend Sooty the Poodle Cross and makes us laugh when he tip-toes over the frosty grass, trying not to get his paws cold.
"After a hard day of playtime, he loves nothing more than having a snooze and a tasty treat. He has become a real part of the family and we can’t imagine life without him now."
Assistant Manager at Dogs Trust Newbury, Jenny Hopkins, said: "Harry is an adorable little chap with such a sad story that we were thrilled when he found a new home. It’s lovely to see him doing so well and back to full health.
"He was certainly a popular pooch at the centre and we are so happy that he has found his “furry tail” ending.
"We have up to 60 dogs at our rehoming centre at any given time and would love them all to go to happy homes."
