She’s got the dustbin liners, the thigh length boots and the T-shirts: Debbie Harris is Bootleg Blondie
She’s got the looks, the voice and the attitude… Bootleg Blondie is back in town this weekend.
Last time Debbie Harris was here, in 2023 she bowled the capacity audience over: Opening well over two hours worth of non-stop, high energy music with the smash hit Atomic, Debbie never stopped moving …I’m sure she must be powered by a well-known brand of high power battery, our @newburytoday reviewer Brian Harrington wrote. newburytoday.co.uk/news/bootleg-blondie-packs-arlington-arts-9342424/
And in 2022: “The energy and sheer joy of the band was palpable. They were having a great time, and so was the audience”. newburytoday.co.uk/lifestyle/when-debbie-did-arlington-9256979/
The tribute band return to Arlington Arts on Friday at 8pm. If you haven’t already booked, you may be lucky to get the last few tickets. Seating’s sold out. Only standing tickets are available.
Debbie Harris, lead vocalist of Bootleg Blondie, has the looks, the voice and the attitude of the original Blondie bombshell and like her heroine is typically outrageous on stage, wearing dustbin liners, thigh length boots and T-shirts with more holes than you’re used to seeing on a T-shirt!
Debbie's pride and joy is her guitar which she plays at every show, signed by all the Blondie band members.
She appeared in The Mail On Sunday Magazine and performed on two TV shows for BBC1 picked out of 15,000 applicants to represent Debbie Harry on ‘Even Better Than The Real Thing’ hosted by Paddy McGuinness which attracted an audience of 10 million viewers!
Expect the classics One Way Or Another, Heart of Glass, Maria, Hanging On The Telephone, Call Me and many more!

The venue box office and bar accept both card and cash payments. Please note that there is no cash machine on site.
