Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue wants your Christmas trees for their animals
Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue, Blewbury near Didcot, has appealed for Christmas trees to be dropped off at their centre.
The wildlife rescue said: "We use Christmas trees for our enclosures to provide environmental enrichment and shelter."
The centre is unable to offer a collection service, but if anyone would like to donate their tree to them they will be open on Saturday, January 8, 10am-5.30pm, and Sunday, January 9, 10am-4pm for drop-offs.
Take your trees to Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue, Woodway Road, Blewbury, OX11 9HW. The centre has asked that you do not use the Eastfield Farm entrance, but take the next turning on the left signposted Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue.
The centre has also asked that if you have any usable old or unwanted Christmas decorations they can use them to resell to raise funds or to craft items for their Christmas events.
If you have a tree to give to us or Xmas decorations you can contact the centre on 07549 322464 or email: oxfordshirewildliferescue@gmail.com
