Roc in list of 100 fastest-growing firms
Newbury firm second in table of top-performing tech companies
Roc Technologies is the second fastest-growing tech company in the UK, according to the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 League.
Published on Sunday, September 11, the Tech Track 100, compiled by Fast Track, is the UK’s leading league table of growing technology companies.
Fast Track uses the London Stock Exchange’s techMARK definition of a technology company as one ‘that shows a commitment to innovation, research and product development, and operates in sectors including software, internet, telecoms and biotech’.
Companies had to be registered in the UK and be independent, unquoted and ultimate holding companies.
Companies were ranked according to the compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in sales over three years, based on their latest available figures.
Newbury-based Roc’s strong performance of 221.18 per cent secured its position as the UK’s second fastest growing firm – and one of only five companies in the table to exceed 200 per cent CAGR.
Roc director Matt Franklin said: “I’m extremely proud of everyone at Roc for this fantastic achievement.
“Our growth to date has been purely organic, which is a testament to the dedication, hard work and commitment of my colleagues.”
Roc was one of five companies in the top 10 to make a profit and one of seven IT service providers in the league table.

“It is particularly good news to see a local company achieve such stellar success that was born out of the Government’s Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme.
