Newbury Bathrooms: New owners and new home for established Newbury business
A Newbury business has undergone a transformation with a new showroom and new owners.
Newbury Bathrooms was established in 1986 and has been providing the general public and the trade with products, service and expert advice ever since.
The new owners Stuart and Lissa Lowrie have been installing luxury bathroom goods for the past five years and said the next step for them was to take on a bathroom showroom.
“We were given the opportunity to purchase Newbury Bathrooms and this appealed to us having the great reputation it has in the area,” they told Newburytoday.
“We have also taken on a great team and are pleased to welcome Mike and Graham who bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and friendly advice, guiding clients towards the perfect bathroom solution.
“We want our clients to experience opulence, and we want to ensure the bathroom design in addition to the products selected work for them bringing the bathroom into the day to day living space.
“To help achieve this, we took on an experienced designer who will also manage the design team as we grow.”
They realised a new home was required for the showroom as they “wanted somewhere which could showcase a large number of displays enabling our clients to visualise a multitude of different options”.
And so they found “an ideal location” on Hambridge Road, with four floors and its own parking.
It has taken a year for the team to create the new home they are now really proud of and look forward to welcoming new and existing customers to.
“The main showroom level is open to the public after being fitted out to an exceptionally high standard with stunning displays showcasing some of the very best products within the industry,” they added.
There is also a design studio which can be used to make presentations in private for clients and an area for architects, interior designers and construction companies to bring their clients in for meetings.
The remaining floors are currently being fitted out.
The doors were officially opened to the new showroom earlier this month.
