THERE is plenty to do to kick off this Bank Holiday weekend.
First off Woolton Hill village market will be on from 10am to 1pm focusing on the outdoors with seasonal plants, gardening activities for children and cut flowers.

The Cromwell Singers present A Celebration of English Music, St Nicolas Church, Newbury, 7pm. There will be a retiring collection in aid of Hope for Africa – Lesotho, and refreshments will be available.
Newbury District Ornithological Club visit to Speen Moors to look for spring birdlife. It will be an easy level stroll suitable for all abilities. The group are meeting at Northcroft Leisure Centre car park at 9am (parking charges apply). All are welcome but those intenting on going must ring (01488) 668482 in advance.
There will also be a Fabric and Haberdashery sale at the Old Chapel Textile Centre, Main Street, Greenham Business Park from 10am-3pm.
