Driver taken to hospital after Padworth collision




Cut free from vehicle by firefighters

A driver was taken to hospital after being cut from a vehicle in Padworth yesterday (Fri) evening, after a collision involving two cars.

Two fire engines, from Whitley Wood and Tadley were called at 5.45pm to the collision in Rectory Road .

Firefighters cut the roof off one car before.

The driver, who was taken to hospital, was thought to have suffered spinal injuries, according to firefighters at the scene.

The road was closed for around one and a half hours.

Police and ambulance services were at the scene.

Firefighters left at 7.45pm
